Membee's Supported Payment Gateways

How Does It Work?

Online payment processing allows your members to pay online by credit card for:

  • E-Billing - invoices sent via email for membership dues or event registrations
  • Online Event Registrations
  • New Member Applications 
  • Renewal billing and recurring events via our powerful Card Vault feature. Card Vault lets your members securely store their credit cards and automatically debits membership renewals and recurring event payments to their credit cards.

Membee uses Hosted Paypages for online payment processing, meaning your members will: 

  • Arrive at a Membee page where they will want to pay an online event registration or e-billing invoice by credit card. 
  • Click the pay link. 
  • Arrive at the payment gateway companies very secure payment page to enter their credit card information. 
  • The payment gateway evaluates the payment. 
  • Only the results (payment accepted or rejected) are returned to Membee. Your members's credit card information exists only in the payment gateway company's secure site. 
  • If the payment is approved, Membee will record the payment, and will mark it as an "Online Payment"

There are essentially three steps to complete to set up and connect a payment gateway with Membee.

  1. Sign up for an account with a supported payment gateway provider and connect it with Membee.
  2. Set up the types of payments that you will accept online (this includes defining the types of credit cards you accept)
  3. Test your setup
